The Houston Community Improvement Association is sponsoring another fundraiser this Thursday, September 3rd, at 5005 Russia-Houston Road from 5 to 8 pm. Drive-through only. From the Grill: Hamburger or cheeseburger or shredded chicken sandwich along with chips and applesauce for $5. From the Kitchen: Beef and Noodles, mashed potatoes, and green beans for $5. The Houston Community Center has two events coming up. On Friday night (Nov. 6), come to Pizza Night at the Houston Community Center from 5 – 8. 5005 Russia-Houston Road. Check out the menu on the website, www.houstonca.org. This is the 2nd one with proceeds going to the Houston Scholarship Fund. On Sunday (Nov. 8), join us for Houston’s annual Turkey & Ham dinner, from 10:30 to 1:00 pm. This dinner will be held as a Drive-Through event only.
