Five at the Fort 5K Run/Walk planned for Saturday, July 4th.
The annual Five at the Fort 5K event will be held Saturday, July 4th at 8:30am. This year’s race is sponsored by Wilson Memorial Hospital, Orthopedic Associates of Southwestern Ohio and Industrial Machining Services and will include professional chip timing, managed by Can’t Stop Running Co., Piqua, Ohio. The course remains the same as last year, $20 registration fee. Pre-registered runners may pick up their packets in the Fort Loramie High School cafeteria morning of the race, along with the day of race runner registrants. Parking will be available at the high school. The top three males and females in each age group will receive a medal and the first place overall male and female runner will each receive $100 cash. Many door prizes will be distributed at the conclusion of the race. A 1 mile Fun Run will begin at 9:15am, $1 registration fee day of race.
