Five at the Fort 5K Run/Walk planned for Thursday, July 4th.
The annual Five at the Fort 5K event will be held Thursday, July 4th at 8:30am. This year’s race is sponsored by Continental Express, Precision Strip, Primary EyeCare Associates, eBikes and Country Concert 19 and will include professional chip timing, managed by Can’t Stop Running Co., Piqua, Ohio.
The course will start at Fort Loramie High School, take racers out to scenic Lake Loramie and finish on the school track. There is a $25 registration fee. Pre-registered runners may pick up their packets in the Fort Loramie High School cafeteria morning of the race, along with the day of race runner registrants. Parking will be available at the high school. The top three males and females in each age group will receive a medal and the first place overall male and female runner will each receive $100 cash. Many door prizes will be distributed at the conclusion of the race.
A 1 mile Fun Run will begin at 9:15am, $1 registration fee day of race.
